Reiki Courses

The Gloucestershire Reiki School was created to provide thorough and accurate teaching and practicing of the Reiki-Ho. (Reiki –Method)

There are three levels of training Shoden, Okuden and Shinpiden, that have been broken down into various courses, workshops and training evenings to enable each practitioner to fully absorb and understand both the theory and practical content.

Shoden (level 1)
An Introduction Day (one-day workshop) is the initial part of the course explaining the basic history and theory, also including important energy cultivating exercises to increase sensitivity to energy work.
Once the Introduction Day is complete you can then move on to the Intensive course (a 2 day course), which applies the Reiju (re-connections or attunments), teaches the full theory associated with the Shoden Level, self-treatment hand positions and the 5 basic hand positions for treating others.
After the Intensive course 6 Additional Training Evenings and 6 Practice Evenings are required before completion of the course is achieved.

Okuden (Level 2)
This level begins with an Intensive Course, containing the next Reiju, the three major Jumon and Shirushi (mantras & symbols), how to practice distant healing, and further techniques and theory for general Reiki practice on the self and others.
